Launch of the Women’s Aid Annual Impact Report 2023

The Annual Impact Report 2023 will provide insights into the levels and forms of abuse experienced by women and children in homes and relationships across Ireland and reflects on the work by Women’s Aid in 2023 to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse and create an equal Ireland with zero tolerance of violence against women.

The event will be chaired by Ailbhe Smyth, Chair of Women’s Aid’s Board of Directors and long-time campaigner on feminist, LGBT and other social issues.

Speakers include:

  • Helen McEntee, T.D., Minister for Justice (via video addres).
  • Dr Stephanie O’Keeffe, CEO, CUAN – The Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Agency.
  • Sarah Benson, CEO, Women’s Aid.
  • Eve McDowell, co-founder Stalking Ireland and advocacy specialist.

A light lunch will be provided.

This event is free of charge but registration is required.

This event will be supported by Irish Sign Language Interpretation and the premises is universally accessible.
