Service Providers Programme – supporting people in the community

This specialist training programme is for professionals and volunteers who come in contact with members of the public who may be victim-survivors of domestic violence and abuse.

We know that women who are subjected to domestic violence and abuse are active help seekers as they look to access protection and supports across many different areas of their lives including:

This training is designed to provide you with the essential knowledge and practical skills to safely and effectively support anyone who is being subjected to domestic violence and coercive control, according to your role. The programme is delivered in two parts: foundational eLearning modules and a practice session.

I thought the delivery of the training was done in a professional, sensitive and very accessible manner. Great balance between being informative and yet not overloading with information. Many agencies who work directly with people should have this training be mandatory.
