Come together this International Women’s Day and host a coffee morning for your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours in solidarity, in celebration, and in support of women everywhere.
The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is embracing equity - and what better way to do this than over a cuppa with friends, neighbours, colleagues in your local community?!
Commit to hosting a coffee morning on Wednesday 8th March, invite as many people as you can, and celebrate women supporting women by participating in a fun and active community fundraiser where you can share food and drink, laughter and conversation, good will and camaraderie while raising money to support women experiencing domestic violence.
Pop the kettle on, fill up the teapot and cafetiere, bake a cake or buy a few sweet treats...Share your news, share stories and fill up your cup! Invite your friends, colleagues, and neighbours to join you for an “all in” coffee morning in your kitchen, garden, work canteen or local community hall. Encourage people to bring something to share and to donate as generously as they can for the coffee, cakes and goodies so that together you’ll be able to raise as much money as possible for women who need your help.
Your participation in this year’s “all-in” coffee morning in celebration and support of women will help make a real difference to women’s lives. We’re counting on your support to help make this International Women’s Day one to remember. To take part, all you have to do is:
The rest will take care of itself!
Be social, have fun, support and celebrate each other and help raise vital funds for women experiencing domestic violence. Your coffee morning will help make a real difference… so jump on board and be part of something really special this International Women’s Day.
All the proceeds you raise will go towards Women’s Aid and will help us to continue to be there for the next woman who needs our support.
