One to One Support Service
The Women's Aid One to One Support Service provides in depth information and support to women experiencing domestic violence.
Where is this service?
The service operates Monday to Friday in five locations in the Greater Dublin Area including:
- Ballymun
- Dublin City Centre - North and South sides.
- Dun Laoghaire
- Swords
If you cannot attend any of these locations we can arrange another safe location to meet. We cannot meet you in your home.
How can I avail of this service?
The One to One Support Service operates on an appointment only basis. Bookings can be made via the Women’s Aid 24 hr National Freephone Helpline between the hours or 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
How can this service help me?
The One to One Support Service will provide face to face support and information to you. It can be good to sit down with someone to talk about your situation. Women's Aid will provide information on your options and support you and advocate on your behalf, if necessary.
The One to One Service also offers a Court Accompaniment Service.
Who will I see?
You will meet one of our support workers. Our staff are highly skilled and experienced, and offer support and information on a once-off or ongoing basis, according to your needs.
How long will I use the service for?
The length of time you use the service for depends on your needs. Women's Aid Support Workers will work with you to maximise your safety. This may need one or two meetings. Or several more. We will provide you support as long as you need it.
