Training & Development

Women’s Aid is a Centre of Excellence for Training and Development of professional and organisational responses to women and children experiencing domestic violence.

Please note: Women’s Aid training department remains open during the Covid-19 emergency. Training on domestic violence is hugely important to ensure that service providers are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond appropriately and safely to women experiencing domestic violence.

Due to the restrictions in place regarding face to face contact we have adapted our training delivery to an online format. You will find details of our upcoming training events here. We also deliver training to organisations in the statutory, community and corporate sectors and if you are interested in training for your organisation we would be happy to discuss your training needs. Please contact us by email on training@womensaid.ie

We provide support to local and national organisations throughout Ireland, both statutory and non-statutory, to promote best practice responses to women and children experiencing domestic violence.
