Over 100 people attended the official launch of the Women’s Aid Femicide Watch (Republic of Ireland) 2017 and heard from speakers address the issues relating to the prosecution of domestic violence and domestic homicide cases, the links between domestic violence and intimate partner homicide, risk assessment and best practice for domestic homicide reviews in other jurisdictions.
This event and newreport built upon our ground breaking ‘Behind Closed Doors’ report published in November last year.
