Welcome to the Women's Aid News Desk.

Inside this edition is information on our 'Don't Be Afraid' national public awareness advertising campaign, which launches today Monday 9th September 2013. The four week long radio, online and poster campaign encourages women living with domestic abuse to speak up and call the Women's Aid National Freephone Helpline 1800 341 900.

We are also in the middle of recruiting volunteers for our National Freephone Helpline, which is based at our offices at 5 Wilton Place, Dublin 2. Read more on this inside. We have also included information on free training being currently offered by our Training and Development Department to local employment services and initiatives funded by the Local Community Development Programme.

You have received this newsletter because you have either signed up for updates via our website or you are on another Women's Aid mailing list. If you would prefer not to receive this newsletter in the future, you can unsubscribe by clicking the link at the top of the email you received.

We would really appreciate if you could help us spread the word and send this email to friends and colleagues you think may be interested.

Best wishes,
