Our Mission
Women's Aid aims to:
- Provide a framework for understanding the complexities of domestic violence
- Identify and build upon participants' existing skills and expertise
- Provide a space and structure for participants to critically examine their own perceptions and practice, and to move towards improving practice in their organisation
- Reflect on current good practice models, research findings and legislation
- Promote inter-agency work by exploring the roles and expectations of voluntary and statutory agencies
