Training & Development
Women's Aid Training and Development Department provides training on the issue of domestic violence to a range of voluntary and statutory agencies and service providers including health professionals, refuge workers, Gardaí, community and social services staff, Women's Aid National Freephone Helpline volunteers, and community groups.
We use a wide range of national and international research along with experience from our direct services to inform training courses which are designed to meet the specific needs of each organisation/group.
The Training and Development Department is part funded by HSE Dublin/North East, and part funded through our Specialist Support Agency work.
Our other main source of funding is through course fees.
