Working for change

Women's Aid works for change in the community as part of its role as Specialist Support Agency.

We do this through:

  • Facilitating local groups to campaign and raise awareness of domestic violence in their community through the 16 Days of Action Campaign.
  • Carrying out policy and campaigning work on the issue of violence against women - through representation on policy fora and making relevant policy submissions on issues related to violence against women.
