Support for volunteers
The Helpline is co-ordinated by the Helpline Manager and Administrator and employs a small group of experienced support workers. Because Women's Aid recognises and acknowledges how difficult the work can be, there is consistent support provided to enable volunteers to continue the work. Helpline staff provide support and guidance to Helpline volunteers. Regular meetings are held with all volunteers to provide support and also can include outside inputs to continue building on volunteers' skills base.
