A Window Between Worlds Art Exhibition

A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) is a nonprofit organization based in the United States dedicated to using art to help end domestic violence. The Community Story Tree was created by A Window Between Worlds to raise awareness about an issue that has a profound and painful impact on the worldwide community.
AWBW's Community Story Tree remains as an ongoing exhibit to provide a safe way for viewers to reflect on and share their own experiences with domestic violence while learning that they are not alone and that there is the possibility for a violence-free future.

"I don't really think it's domestic violence, because he's never hit me. ...... He used to be so funny and charming. He used to adore me. But now he's just mean. Yesterday he threw the credit card at me and said, right in front of his buddies, "Go buy yourself three or four pairs of Gucci loafers and shut the fuck up." I just acted like I didn't even hear him. I held my head up and kept right on smiling. A lady doesn't lower herself, you know? "
