Longford Women's Link 16 Days Exhibition and Walk of Remembrance
Posted on November 23, 2012
One in five women in Ireland will experience domestic violence sometime in their lives. It can affect any woman regardless of age, marital status, class or cultural background. It could be your friend, your sister, your daughter, your mother. It could be you. The 16 Days Campaign provides us all with the opportunity to break the silence around violence against women.
We hope you can join us. By participating in the events Longford Women's Link have organized in Longford, we make the issue of violence against women visible. We give hope to women who are suffering and we hold perpetrators of abuse to account.
To show your solidarity, please participate in any of the following events:
- The Walk of Remembrance
