I'm Ok, You're Ok and that's OK - Humanisisng Rights and Responsibilities Series: Listening to Young People's Voices

Clare Intercultural Network invites you to this year's Human Rights Day Conference in Ennis on Dec 10, 2011, Time: 10:00am - 4:30pm Location: West County Hotel Ennis, County Clare.

In response to Art. 29 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child this conference aims to contribute to the debate about how the Education Curriculum in Irish schools can support young people to understand and value diversity, interculturalism and equality among all peoples.

Exploring the intersection between interculturalism, equality, religious diversity and human rights in Irish education, this Conference would be of interest to: young people, school committees , faith and non faith groups , educators-primary to adult education, parents, community groups, political leaders and policy makers

Speakers at the Conference incude;
Dr Mary P. Murphy: Lecturer in Irish Politics and Society in the Department of Sociology, NUIM (Equality, Social and Cultural Values), Dr Roja Fazaeli: Lecturer in Islamic Studies TCD (Gender, Human Rights and the Right to a Belief System )and Paula Madden Irish Traveller Movement: (Yellow Flag Project)
